Captain Oliver's waterfront resort is uniquely located on the French/Dutch border on the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten. The resort is often described as a charming intimate getaway off-the-beaten-path, yet the unique location offers easy accessibility to the island's other attributes.

Captain Oliver's Resort is home to exotic birds, sharks, turtles and a variety of other creatures. The birds often greet guests with a Hi and Hello before crossing the International Bridge entrance to Captain Oliver's Restaurant. Many of the birds that call Captain Oliver's home were once pets of people living on the island. When they needed to move off the island they wanted a place where their pets would be well taken care of and get a lot of attention. And they love all the attention they get at Captain Oliver's.
